#1: Holiday Stollen Cookies
Ingredients:
· 150 grams of cream cheese
· 100 grams of soft butter
· 1 egg
· 60 grams of sugar
· 270 grams of flour
· 3 teaspoons baking powder
· 1 vanilla
· 90 grams of dried fruits
· 70 grams of ground nuts (almonds)
· 50 grams of milk chocolate
For the decoration:
· 50 grams of butter
· 5–6 tablespoons powdered sugar
· 1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation:
1. Add the butter, cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in a bowl. Beat with a mixer. Add the egg, flour, and baking powder. Add the dried fruits, nuts, and milk chocolate. The dough should be soft.
2. Place in a tray and cover with paper. Then form it into balls.
3. Bake at 170C degrees for 17 minutes. They should have a light tan.
4. When they are cool, brush with liquid butter. Roll in powdered sugar and put in a box. Enjoy!
#2: Holiday Chocolate Balls
Ingredients:
· 300 grams plain biscuits
· 1 teacup walnuts
· 1 coffee cup cognac
· 1 coffee cup milk
· 1 package of vanilla
· 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
· 200 gramsbutter
· 1 teacup powdered sugar
· 1 milk chocolate to roll the chocolate balls with
Preparation:
1. Crush the plain biscuits and ground the walnuts.
2. Add them to a bowl, mix them with the cognac, milk, vanilla, cocoa powder, soft butter, and the powdered sugar.
3. Let it still for half an hour so the flavors mix.
4. Make small balls and roll them in the grated milk chocolate. Enjoy!
#3: Holiday Brownies
Ingredients:
· 3 eggs
· 200 grams of natural chocolate
· 100 grams of white and natural chocolate
· 160 grams butter
· 100 grams of sugar
· 3 tablespoons flour
· 1 tablespoon baking powder
Preparation:
1. Break the chocolate into pieces in a glass bowl and melt it. Add the butter and stir until the mixture is smooth and shiny. Remove from the heat and place it in a bowl of cold water to cool it down. Stir.
2. In another bowl, beat the egg whites with a mixer. Add the sugar, then the flour, and the baking powder. Finally, add the yolks one by one and stir.
3. Cut white and dark chocolate into pieces and add them to the mixture. Add the cooled melted chocolate. Stir gently with a spatula. (It is VERY important not to use the mixer.)
4. Pour the mixture into a tray lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180C degrees for 30–35 minutes. Allow the brownies to cool down and remove them from the pan.
5. Cut them into pieces and decorate them with white chocolate. Enjoy!
